Dürr Assembly Products presented the localized products to their customers during a „Customer Day“.

Local value added and orders in local currency are more and more important in China. To fulfil this task Dürr Assembly Products has developed the strategy of the system components. Essential “know-how” components of measurement technology are imported from Europe and will be completed with local components and assembly service to become test stands of proven Schenck quality.

More than 20 customers of 11 automotive manufacturers could assure themselves of this quality.

Particularly the “purely Chinese” automobile manufacturers were very interesting in knowing which are the production possibilities of Dürr Assembly Products at Schenck Shanghai Machinery.

Among the presented equipment, the first localized brake test stand „x-brake“ could be presented, too. Brake test stands are being applied only in the Asian area, with few exceptions. Therefore, Schenck Shanghai Machinery has invested in the adaptation of an own product.

The new localization effort has already been awarded first orders. The Chinese automotive manufacturers

  • Guangzhou Automobile
  • Erdos Hawtai Automobile
  • Zhejing Youngman

will equip their new plants with localized end-of-line products.

Dürr Assembly Products now hopes to keep on extending their market share.
