At the high-tech training center at the Dürr facility in Bietigheim-Bissingen, repair and maintenance personnel, plant operators, programmers, managers and planning groups can expect a wide range of training courses. A team of 16 instructors with a variety of specialists skills familiarize the course participants with the skilled use of Dürr robots, provide information on the application technology used and explain special technical aspects, such as the electrical maintenance of equipment. The newly acquired knowledge is consolidated by means of practical exercises relating to servicing and preventive maintenance as well as troubleshooting.
Broad spectrum of topics
In addition to the customer-focused seminars, in which the contents and dates are tailored specifically to the participants from a particular company, Dürr has recently started offering open enrollment courses. Interested parties can enroll individually for these qualification courses, in which skilled personnel from various companies and different countries are instructed in small groups. The broad program includes for example, the basic course on Teach Programming / EcoScreen 3D-OnSite, as well as training courses on sealing processes or on application technology in automotive series painting. In these courses, the participants become familiar with various painting materials, paint dosing techniques and appropriate application technologies, and train on the Dürr robots.
