Sealing and Gluing – Automated high viscosity application

As a turnkey plant supplier, Dürr has extensive process expertise and high-quality products in automated vehicle sealing, conservation and gluing. A wide variety of materials are applied, such as highly viscous PVC plastisols for sealing and coating, acrylates and rubber materials for structural sound deadening, or 100 % waxes for cavity conservation.

Gluing as a joining method is particularly well-suited for the dynamic stresses of combining different materials. In the final assembly of vehicle production highly viscous materials are used to permanently bond parts and components of different characteristics.
