Moscow, 11th and 12th September 2019 – Already the 10th Dürr Customer Day took place in Russia this September. Dürr celebrated this anniversary together with 30 customers from Russia as well as partners and participants from the Dürr Group in the Hilton Hotel in Moscow. Time to look back upon past events and, of course, to look ahead. What began 10 years ago in Moscow with 15 participants from 2 industry sectors has developed into an annual highlight in the Russian automotive industry.
Started with customers from the passenger car and truck sectors, participants from the commercial vehicle industry, from agricultural and e-mobility sectors have continuously joined in recent years. Our attention is directed to these customers at the annual customer day.
The Dürr speakers were delighted to present their latest products and services in filling, assembly and testing technology, which are oriented towards the latest trends in the mobility industry. The products included test stands for autonomous driving, such as the multi-sensor calibration test stand ‘x-around’ for passenger cars and the multi-function test stand ‘x-road curve’. The compact filling system ‘BlueStart’ was introduced as new filling technology from China. Schenck RoTec complemented the spectrum of subjects with its balancing technology for e-mobility The Digital Factory for test and filling technology provided news with respect to Digitalization and Industry 4.0.
The program of the two-day event included not only innovations but also planning-related subjects. The participants displayed great interest in Dürr’s latest flexible planning methods for the automotive production and in the opportunities for cooperation with colleagues from Dürr Systems in Russia. NAMI, the Russian institute for automotive production and development, added to the program with a guest speech addressing development, production and market introduction of the latest Russian state carriage ‘Aurus’.
Dürr's technology is convincing and our Russian customers want to use it. Due to the current political situation, this is not always easy in Russia. A customer day offers a good forum for exploring possibilities together, for facilitating cooperation, and for expanding existing cooperative ventures. The Dürr Group’s international orientation helps us again and again to make good solutions possible.
Over the last few years, customers at four different locations have opened their doors to the Dürr Customer Day and thus used the opportunity to present their capabilities to the participants of the customer days. In the future, another customer would like to host his plant. This year, CLAAS did not miss the opportunity to invite Dürr to the Krasnodar plant for the next customer day.
During the joint evening event, the entertainer succeeded excellently in uniting typical Russian and German virtues in such a way that in the end there were only winners.
"Excellent", "continue like this", "great company" were the statements of all participants who are already looking forward to the next customer day. Many individual discussions, also after the end of the official customer day, reflected the great interest in Dürr’s technology.
